The camp's elegant furnishings and cozy tents provided a comfortable retreat, allowing us to awaken to the harmonious melodies of singing birds. The opportunity to wander through the park and witness the majestic hippos was truly enchanting. Martin, the hospitable manager, treated us like old friends, enhancing our overall stay.The tented accommodation was private and tranquil, offering a unique experience with the sounds of the wild at night. The presence of Nyala, Zebra, and giraffes added to the lodge's charm. The guided morning walks were informative and enjoyable, allowing us to connect with nature on a deeper level.The attentive staff, including Phumzile Ncube, the knowledgeable guide, and the diligent housekeeping and kitchen team, contributed to a seamless and relaxing visit. The wholesome home-cooked meals were satisfying, and the serene ambiance provided the perfect setting to unwind and connect with fellow travelers from around the globe.Zululand Lodge offers a valuable escape for those seeking a peaceful respite. While the luxurious amenities may be limited compared to high-end resorts, the genuine hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and captivating wildlife encounters make it a worthwhile choice for nature enthusiasts looking to disconnect and recharge.
